About The Position

Manhattan Surgical Hospital is seeking a compassionate and skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse to join their team. The OR nurses are expected to bring a unique blend of clinical expertise, focus, and professionalism to provide outstanding care in every procedure.

Requirements

• Current RN license in the state of Kansas
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative team mindset
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Kansas
• Current CPR and ACLS certification
• Demonstrates ability to stand and/or walk at least five hours per day
• Demonstrates ability to lift and/or carry over 20 pounds on a regular basis
• Demonstrates ability to push/pull over 25 pounds on a regular basis

Nice To Haves

• Operating room experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Support surgical procedures while maintaining a safe, sterile environment
• Assist surgeons and anesthesia providers during surgical cases
• Prepare the operating room with necessary instruments, supplies, and equipment before procedures
• Verify patient information, procedure details, and surgical site according to safety protocols
• Perform surgical counts with the scrub team to support patient safety
• Complete accurate, timely documentation throughout the patient care process
• Assist with room turnover between cases to keep the schedule running smoothly
