Operating Room Nurse
About The Position
Memorial Hermann Surgery Center Richmond is hiring an Operating Room Nurse. This role involves providing nursing care and service during surgery cases, including patient positioning, prepping, and circulating the case. The position is for weekdays only, with one weekend day per month required. Holidays and call are not part of this role. Some early mornings and later evenings may be required, with the schedule subject to change based on the surgical schedule and daily flow. The surgery center performs outpatient procedures in GI, Colorectal, Orthopedic, Pain, Spine, and Podiatry.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
- Active RN license in the state
- BLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by the center
- A minimum of 1 year experience working as a Circulator
- Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment

- Experienced in surgical procedures in the following specialties: if applicable

- Provides nursing care and service during surgery cases.
