About The Position
The Operating Room Assistant functions as a member of the surgical team under the direct supervision of a Registered Peri-Operative Nurse. Responsibilities include assisting in general department cleaning, case cart preparation, running errands, and assisting with transporting of patients and room turnover. Waukesha Memorial Hospital's Operating Rooms handle a high volume of diverse surgical cases annually, including advanced procedures like da Vinci Robotic surgeries and operations in a newly built Hybrid OR and a fully integrated Minimally Invasive Robotic room. Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Basic Life Support Card through the American Heart Association within 3 months of hire
