About The Position

At Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital, we perform procedures including General/vascular, Orthopedics, Urology, and OB/GYN in our 8 operating rooms. As an Orthopedic Center of Excellence, the majority of our cases are within the orthopedic service line. Our largest case volume includes same day discharge procedures for total joints. The Operating Room Assistant functions as a member of the surgical team under the direct supervision of a Registered Peri-Operative Nurse. Responsibilities include assisting in general department cleaning, case cart preparation, running errands, and assisting with transporting of patients and room turnover.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience
