About The Position

Creates a sanitary, safe environment and assists nurses with patient care for the Operating Room (OR). This role requires critical thinking skills, effective communication skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision with a positive disposition. The individual must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• BLS American Heart E-Card (BLS AHA ECARD) - American Heart Association
• BLS American Heart RQI E-Card (BLS AHA-RQI ECARD) - American Heart Association
• BLS Cert American Heart_non ecard (BLS AHA) - American Heart Association
• BLS Certification Grace (BLS GRACE) - Employee Grace Period for Essential Credential
• BLS Cert Red Cross (BLS RC) - Red Cross
• One (1) year of experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with moving surgical equipment.
• Cleans OR surgical suites and other assigned areas daily, including collecting and removing trash, changing linens and sanitizing all surfaces.
• Assist nurse with providing basic patient care.
• Stocks supplies in surgical suites as necessary or designated.
