About The Position
Creates a sanitary, safe environment and enhances the appearance of the OR. Requires critical thinking skills, effective communications skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision with a positive disposition. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- BLS American Heart E-Card (BLS AHA ECARD) - American Heart Association
- BLS Cert American Heart_non ecard (BLS AHA) - American Heart Association
Responsibilities
- Assist with moving surgical equipment.
- Cleans OR surgical suites and other assigned areas daily, including collecting and removing trash, changing linens and sanitizing all surfaces.
- Stocks supplies in surgical suites as necessary or designated.
- Assist nurse with providing basic patient care.
