Responsibilities include cleaning and sanitizing operating rooms, equipment set-up, and assisting with the logistics of surgical instruments and supplies. Challenges often involve managing multiple tasks under tight schedules and adhering to strict health and safety protocols. Collaboration is key, as the aide works closely with surgical teams to provide necessary support during and between procedures. The work structure is dynamic, involving shifts that may extend outside regular hours, requiring flexibility and quick adaptability.

Requirements

• Certified Surgical Cleaning Technician (CSCT) within 6 months of hire
• American Heart Association BLS certification within 30 days of hire
• Attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills
• Effective interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of hygiene and safety protocols
• Flexibility and adaptability
• Problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

• Prior healthcare experience
• High school graduate or GED equivalent
