Operating Effectiveness Advisor
About The Position
The Operating Effectiveness Advisor serves as a strategic operations partner to senior Global Information Security (GIS) leadership, driving operational efficiency, governance, and data-informed decision-making across workforce management, financial oversight, and reporting. This role acts as a central point of contact for operational support, analytics, and process optimization across GIS business management functions. The Advisor is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing core business processes related to workforce management (e.g., TBH tracking, contractor conversions, hiring controls), financial governance, and executive reporting. The Advisor leverages complex data analysis to ensure effective governance, operational controls, and consistent communication frameworks. This role partners closely with the Office of the COO, HR, and Finance to deliver actionable insights and support strategic initiatives aligned with GCISO priorities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience in business operations, analytics, or IT business management
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to operate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders without direct authority
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with modeling, forecasting, and trend analysis
Nice To Haves
- experience with Clarity, Tableau, and Oracle Financials preferred
- Knowledge of healthcare or regulated environments preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead operational processes related to hiring controls, contractor conversions, and workforce planning
- Develop and deliver reporting and analytics to inform leadership decision-making
- Analyze operational and financial data to identify trends, risks, and optimization opportunities
- Ensure consistent governance, controls, and reporting standards across GIS
- Partner with Finance, Vendor Management, and Third-Party Management teams to support operational alignment
- Support executive reporting and governance forums
- Drive continuous improvement across processes, tools, and reporting capabilities
