About The Position

This is a long-term contract position for an OpenText Content Server Workflow Developer located in Jersey City, NJ. The role requires an onsite presence and is looking for W2 candidates only, with no C2C arrangements. The developer will be responsible for designing, developing, administering, and supporting workflows within OpenText Content Server, as well as collaborating with various teams and end-users.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of strong experience in OpenText Content Server design, development, administration, and workflow support.
  • Extensive knowledge of OT CS Workflow Development Tools including Global Cents – GCI Power Tools.
  • Extensive knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and XSL Style Sheets.
  • Extensive knowledge of Database development (tables, views, functions, stored procedures).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Excel) and Adobe Acrobat Pro.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Azure DevOps (source control, task management, deployment pipelines).
  • Experience with OpenText LiquidOffice.
  • Prior experience working with large public government agencies or utility organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Architect, design, and implement new workflows in OpenText Content Server.
  • Propose solutions based on business requirements, including workarounds when out-of-box functionality is limited.
  • Administer, support, and enhance existing OT CS workflows.
  • Develop and enhance workflows using Global Cents – GCI Power Tools (Documents Builder, Workflow, Reports, Views).
  • Create and maintain data entry forms using XSL style sheets and HTML5 features.
  • Utilize OT CS REST APIs to meet business process requirements.
  • Develop end-user and administrator reports using WebReports and LiveReports.
  • Draft and maintain technical documentation, support manuals, and workflow specifications.
  • Design and maintain SQL tables, views, functions, and stored procedures to support workflow and reporting needs.
  • Interface with end users, business analysts, and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Conduct end-user training and provide ongoing support.
  • Provide general Engineering help desk support as part of the Applications Support Team.
