Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of Business Analysis experience, preferably within Insurance or Financial Services.
  • Strong experience working with OpenText xPression and/or Exstream Forms platforms.
  • Proven experience in requirements gathering, business process analysis, and documentation.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Strong understanding of Customer Communication Management (CCM) solutions and document generation processes.
  • Experience conducting gap analysis, impact analysis, and feasibility studies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities.
  • Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for OpenText xPression/Exstream forms and document generation solutions.
  • Translate business needs into detailed functional and non-functional requirements and specifications.
  • Work closely with development, QA, and architecture teams to ensure accurate implementation of business requirements.
  • Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and operational efficiency.
  • Conduct gap analysis, impact analysis, root cause analysis, and feasibility assessments for proposed solutions and enhancements.
  • Facilitate workshops, requirement gathering sessions, stakeholder meetings, and design reviews.
  • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrums, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
  • Support user story creation, acceptance criteria definition, backlog refinement, and prioritization activities.
  • Ensure alignment between business objectives and technical solutions across cross-functional teams.
  • Maintain comprehensive business and functional documentation, including BRDs, FRDs, process flows, and traceability matrices.
  • Support testing activities by reviewing test scenarios, validating business outcomes, and assisting with User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Ensure compliance with insurance industry regulations, governance standards, and organizational policies.
  • Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
