About The Position

NTT DATA is seeking an OpenShift Developer to join its team in Irving, Texas, in a hybrid arrangement. The role focuses on developing and maintaining OpenShift container platforms and enabling microservices and event-driven integrations. The developer will engineer platform capabilities and deliver them through automated, supportable processes while maintaining platform security, stability, and performance.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience with OpenShift.
• At least 3 years of experience with container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes and OpenShift.
• At least 3 years of experience working with Ansible Playbook and Ansible Tower.

Responsibilities

• Design reusable assets, components, standards, frameworks, and processes to support microservices and event-driven integrations.
• Engineer new capabilities for the OpenShift Platform and deliver them in a fully automated and supportable manner.
• Maintain the security, stability, and performance of OpenShift container platforms.
• Research and implement automation approaches.
• Understand complex systems and troubleshoot them to support high availability.
• Work with virtual and in-person teams and meet deadlines while working under pressure.
• Communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Apply best practices for building supportable, repeatable Kubernetes clusters with deployed applications.
