California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB) is seeking an Open Rank, Tenure-Track faculty member for the Department of Special Education, Rehabilitation and Counseling. The university is a prominent educational and cultural hub in Southern California, serving approximately 19,000 students and recognized as a minority-serving and Hispanic-serving institution with a diverse student population. CSUSB is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion, offering support programs for junior faculty and encouraging applications from individuals with experience in diverse settings and a commitment to serving diverse student populations. The successful candidate will teach evening courses in face-to-face, hybrid, and/or online formats for post-baccalaureate credential and graduate programs, focusing on special education foundations and instructional practices for learners with extensive support needs. Responsibilities include supervising fieldwork, advising students, participating in curriculum development and program assessment, and engaging in scholarly activity and service. Teaching may occur at both the San Bernardino and Palm Desert campuses. The position requires a commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring a diverse student population and working effectively with faculty, staff, and students across disciplines.
