About The Position
The University of Tennessee Health Sciences, Department of Anesthesiology is seeking a non-tenure track Anesthesiologist as a full-time academic Open Rank Professor. Academic rank is commensurate with training and experience.
Requirements
- MD or equivalent degree.
- Completion of an accredited Anesthesiology Residency program.
- Completion of Pediatric Fellowship, sub-certifications/training is highly preferred.
- Board-certified or board-eligible for examination by the ABA.
- Eligible for a license in the State of Tennessee.
- A current unrestricted license as a Physician in Tennessee.
- Current certification DEA number.
- Eligible for malpractice insurance.
Nice To Haves
- Pediatric Fellowship, sub-certifications/training is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Providing patient care and training of residents, fellows, and SRNAs.
