About The Position

The University of Tennessee Health Sciences is seeking a full-time, non-tenure track faculty member at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor to serve as the Director of the Operative Dentistry Division within the Department of General Dentistry. This role is responsible for overseeing the preclinical and clinical education in operative dentistry, dental anatomy, CAD/CAM dentistry, dental materials, and restorative procedures for D1-D4 dental students. The Division supports D1 and D2 preclinical courses, D3 and D4 clinical operative dentistry procedures, and clinical competencies in operative dentistry. The Director will also collaborate closely with the Department of General Dentistry group leaders, who act as the primary clinical mentors for D3 and D4 students. The academic rank will be determined based on the candidate's academic credentials.

Responsibilities
