Patient Access Navigators at the CU Hemophilia and Thrombosis Center are on the front lines of the battle to improve healthcare equity by investing time and energies to help patients with congenital bleeding and clotting disorders navigate the complexities of the healthcare system. Navigators will explain clinic processes, insurance coverage, and patient responsibilities in a culturally sensitive manner to improve patient outcomes. Access Navigators will be responsible for making the first impression for both the Center and School of Medicine. New patients will base their impression of care on the successful handling of their onboarding.
