The Kenneth F. Kahn School of Law at High Point University is seeking applicants to serve on its full-time faculty who are interested in teaching criminal law and/or business-related courses. The School invites applicants from entry-level to those seeking a tenured appointment. Entry-level candidates need not have any prior law school teaching experience but must show significant promise for excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service. The School encourages applications from all candidates who will contribute to the school’s stimulating intellectual environment. Salary and academic rank will be commensurate with each candidate’s qualifications and experience. Candidates will have the exciting opportunity to work in a highly collaborative environment with a holistic approach to legal education that focuses on the doctrinal knowledge, practical skills, and values-based professional identity students need for success in a rapidly evolving legal profession. In addition to teaching courses in the School of Law, faculty responsibilities will include (1) contributing to the scholarly mission of the School; (2) advising and mentoring students; and (3) participating in law school and University service as assigned.
