About The Position

The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is seeking a physician to join our well-established academic family medicine team at the assistant, associate, or professor level to provide comprehensive primary care. The ideal candidate will be a patient-centered, compassionate team-player who is invested in delivering state of the art clinical care, while also teaching and leading parts of the curriculum for students and/or residents. Any candidate with an interest in medical education will be highly considered. The department plays a major role in all four years of the medical school curriculum. Our department has a significant presence in the Dean’s Office, including the role of dean, associate deans, and curriculum directors. We also play a major role in facilitating different outreach activities to different underserved and vulnerable groups, including people who are unfunded, rural, and/or currently unhoused.
