Open Rank (Cardiology)
About The Position
The Division of Cardiology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is recruiting for an Open Rank, Fixed-Term, Tenure or Tenure Track or Variable Track Faculty appointment as a General Cardiologist. This is a full-time clinical position. Responsibilities include outpatient cardiology care, developing a referral practice, attending on inpatient units or consult service, and teaching cardiovascular fellows, residents, and medical students. The position may also involve seeing patients at an outreach clinic and/or interpreting advanced cardiac imaging studies. Position rank and track are dependent upon applicant qualifications and experience.
Requirements
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine (ABIM)
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to practice independently
