About The Position

The Opco President of Performance Redistribution will be responsible for optimizing the existing operations and executing the strategic direction for the redistribution model in the convenience and Vistar channel across the US and Canada. This individual will lead the current operating companies (California, Arkansas, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Texas, and Illinois), oversee the expansion of new Opco facilities and support the purchasing strategy while helping construct the size and shape of the redistribution network of the future. A successful candidate will have a track record of delivering on current business plans, leading large teams of individuals to deliver on common goals and have the capability to work across complex organizations and influence mutually beneficial solutions. Applicants will preferably have current or recent experience as an OpCo President.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business or related field, or relevant business experience
5+ years in operational excellence and or marketing/purchasing roles, some portion in a wholesale environment which includes food, beverage or regulated products
5+ years leading large organizations on delivering performance and profitability
Experience in developing and leading to deliver in fast past work environment
Ability to communicate effectively, assimilate information, and make excellent business decisions
Demonstrated professional leadership capabilities
Experience working with and optimizing WMS software systems
Highly proficiency in Microsoft Office, such as Excel, and Windows-based programs
Strong analytical skills
Ability to interact effectively across organizations with diplomacy and tact

Responsibilities

Deliver on the annual business plans for the redistribution network in the convenience and Vistar divisions.
Execute the strategic direction for redistribution, to include the network of current and future locations, productivity of the facilities, categories delivered and operating KPI’s.
Act as the field level operations liaison for Core-Mark and Vistar within the broader PFG network, participate in efforts to optimize redistribution inside of the various channels.
Establish common operating model technology solutions across redistribution centers.
Work in partnership with the PFG logistics team in the optimization of the inbound and outbound freight strategies.
Support purchasing with vendors in discussions around value proposition of redistribution.
Travel will be required for this position, approximately 50%.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
