About The Position

Your Work Schedule You'll work in 14-day on-site cycles, with action-packed 12-hour shifts. Depending on project needs, assignments can extend up to 20 days, on either day or evening shifts. Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities Operate mobile water treatment units in remote locations Monitor and analyze treatment processes: sampling, lab analysis, and chemical dosing Perform preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure peak performance Write clear and thorough monitoring reports Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, whether process-related or mechanical Participate in the installation and demobilization of units at the start and end of each project. Requirements

  • College diploma (DEC) or vocational diploma (DEP) in water treatment or equivalent
  • Strong practical knowledge and troubleshooting skills in electricity, mechanics, instrumentation, and control — with a genuine desire to keep developing them
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Strong analytical mindset with sharp logical thinking and deductive reasoning
  • Detail-oriented with a precise and methodical approach to work
  • Skilled hand dexterity for safely and carefully handling chemical treatment products
  • Fluency in spoken and written French
  • Advanced knowledge of English, frequently used to communicate with clients and suppliers outside Quebec, as well as for report writing
  • Availability to travel across Canada
  • Availability to work night shifts
  • Ability to stand and work for 8 to 12 hours per shift
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
  • Comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights
  • Able to climb ladders, crawl, and crouch as needed
