About The Position
Take the next step in your career with Morrison Healthcare as a OP Oncology Dietitian in LONGVIEW, TX! Relocation Assistance Available! Location: Morrison Healthcare at Christus Good Shepherd Medical Center Setting: Outpatient Cancer Center Schedule: Full time, Monday - Friday Requirement: Registered Dietitian (RD) with the Commission on Dietetic Registration and TX Dietitian Licensure. Oncology interest/experience is a plus. We offer financial support for obtaining related specialty board certification! Position Details: Provide compassionate, evidence-based nutrition care to oncology patients throughout their cancer treatment journey in a collaborative outpatient setting. Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 per year
Requirements
- Registered Dietitian (RD) with the Commission on Dietetic Registration and TX Dietitian Licensure
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or CDR exam eligible
- Licensed Dietitian (or willing to obtain) in the state of practice as applicable
- Specialty certification when required
- Two years of work experience in specialty preferred

Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients in a designated specialty area to promote recovery and improve health outcomes
- Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support sustainable, long-term wellness to patients, families, staff, and the community
- Apply the latest research in alignment with the diet manual, company policies, and facility protocols to ensure high-quality, consistent care
- Contribute to QAPI initiatives aimed at advancing patient care and clinical excellence
- Partner with the management team to help achieve patient satisfaction and service goals
- Support the growth of staff and dietetic interns through education and training as applicable
