About The Position

Glenbrook South High School is seeking internal applicants to co-sponsor the Onward House Student Tutoring Club for the 2026-2027 school year. The co-sponsors will accompany GBS student tutors to the Onward House Community Center in Chicago’s Belmont-Cragin neighborhood on Tuesdays after school to help tutor grade-school students throughout the school year. The sponsors will also assist the student club officers with the management of fundraising efforts and the implementation of new ideas to best support the club moving forward. The co-sponsor drives the school's 14-passenger van. Conversational Spanish language skills are valuable when working with students at Onward Neighborhood House. The 1.0 (annual) stipend for this position is based on District 225's Discretionary stipend amount of $2,239.24. This position is not eligible for benefits.
