About The Position

The Onsite Supervisor is responsible for ensuring a client's line is fully staffed and running by the start of the shift. This role involves proactively addressing staffing shortages, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for new hires, and serving as the primary point of contact for the client and associates. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and prefers to prevent problems rather than react to them.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1 to 2 years in staffing, recruiting, HR, or administrative support.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish.
  • Comfortable communicating with diverse individuals, including plant managers and associates.
  • Ability to maintain a firm but fair demeanor in difficult conversations.
  • Strong organizational skills and follow-through.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace.
  • Hands-on experience with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Comfortable conducting phone and in-person interviews with attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or a related field.
  • Agency experience.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations on the client floor to ensure the line is fully staffed and operational.
  • Manage attendance, identify staffing gaps, and implement solutions before the shift begins.
  • Onboard new hires, guiding them through their first day.
  • Conduct check-ins with existing associates to address potential issues.
  • Handle timecards and maintain accurate documentation for payroll and incident resolution.
  • Address operational challenges such as line downtime, associate call-offs, and client/associate concerns.
  • Make day-to-day decisions and take ownership of outcomes.
  • Escalate issues beyond their scope to the Branch Manager.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the client on-site.
  • Build the talent pipeline by representing Midway at hiring events.
  • Review candidates and collaborate with recruiters and branch leadership to maintain adequate staffing levels.
