This role utilizes a wide array of knowledge, technical skills, and critical thinking abilities to facilitate job functions during surgical procedures, as well as preoperative and postoperative equipment management. The OnSite Specialist provides clinical surgical support by managing all relevant equipment, anticipating the needs of OR staff and surgeons, and troubleshooting/maintaining Stryker equipment and other related devices. This position involves working collaboratively with surgeons, OR personnel, central processing, biomedical staff, and others. The specialist is responsible for maintaining an up-to-date knowledge base of equipment and disposable products through Stryker education, providing physicians and OR personnel with product information, and accurately recording and reporting data metrics related to job functions. Maintaining account information for high service levels and completing vendor credentialing are also key responsibilities. The role requires adherence to all Stryker and medical facility policies, standards, and procedures, including HIPAA. Support and coverage may be required on all shifts at the assigned account, as well as other accounts in and outside the region, potentially including on-call duties, overnights, weekends, and overnight travel. Assigned shifts may change without notice based on business needs, including rotating shifts.
