The OnSite Specialist provides in-room support for minimally invasive surgical (MIS) and related procedures, ensuring optimal performance of Stryker and third-party equipment. This role bridges clinical teams, SPD, and Stryker service lines to maintain smooth, high-quality OR operations. The role utilizes a wide array of knowledge, technical skills and critical thinking abilities to facilitate job functions during surgical procedures as well as preoperative and postoperative equipment management. The Specialist is responsible for trouble-shooting and maintaining Stryker equipment and or other related devices, working with surgeons, O.R. personnel, central processing, biomedical and all other related personnel. They maintain a knowledge base of equipment and disposable products through Stryker education training programs and provide physicians and OR personnel with information on new and current products. The role requires accurate and honest recording and reporting of data metrics related to all specific job functions on a monthly basis, and maintaining up-to-date account information to ensure continuous high levels of service at the account, including all vendor credentialing required by the account. The Specialist adheres to all Stryker and medical facility policies, standards and procedures, and analyzes and resolves both routine and non-routine product issues expediently using independent judgment. A professional appearance, work ethic, and attitude are required by Stryker and the medical facility, and adherence to HIPAA and other related patient confidentiality policies and procedures is mandatory. Support and coverage may be required on all shifts at the assigned account, as well as at other accounts in and outside the region, which might include on-call, overnight, and weekends. Assigned shifts may change without notice based on account/business needs, including rotating shifts. Travel may be required for other accounts in other regions.
