Utilizes a wide array of knowledge, technical skills and critical thinking abilities to facilitate job functions during surgical procedures as well as preoperative and postoperative equipment management. This role involves providing clinical surgical support by managing all relevant equipment, anticipating the needs of OR staff and surgeons, and troubleshooting/maintaining Stryker equipment and other related devices. The specialist will work closely with surgeons, OR personnel, central processing, biomedical staff, and others. Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge base of equipment and products through Stryker education is crucial. The role also includes providing physicians and OR personnel with information on new and current products, accurately recording and reporting data metrics, maintaining account information for high service levels, and adhering to all Stryker and medical facility policies and procedures. The specialist will analyze and resolve product issues, maintain a professional appearance and work ethic, and adhere to HIPAA and patient confidentiality policies. Support and coverage are required on all shifts at the assigned account, which may include on-call, overnight, and weekends, and may involve overnight travel. Assigned shifts can change without notice and may include rotating shifts.
