This field-based position utilizes a wide array of knowledge, technical skills, and critical thinking abilities to facilitate job functions during surgical procedures, as well as preoperative and postoperative equipment management. The role involves providing clinical surgical support by managing all relevant equipment, anticipating the needs of OR staff and surgeons, and troubleshooting/maintaining Stryker equipment and other related devices. The Specialist will work collaboratively with surgeons, OR personnel, central processing, biomedical staff, and others. Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge base of equipment and disposable products through Stryker education, providing information on new and current products to physicians and OR personnel, and accurately recording and reporting data metrics are key aspects of the role. The position also requires maintaining up-to-date account information, adhering to all Stryker and medical facility policies, analyzing and resolving product issues, and maintaining a professional appearance and work ethic. Adherence to HIPAA and patient confidentiality policies is mandatory. Support and coverage are required on all shifts at the assigned account, which may include on-call, overnight, and weekends, and may involve overnight travel to other accounts. Assigned shifts can change without notice based on account/business needs, including rotating shifts.
