About The Position

Envita Solutions, formerly Heritage Interactive Services, is a total waste management partner focused on transforming complex waste challenges into sustainable solutions. The company operates in the U.S., Mexico, and Canada, has over 300 employees, and is part of The Heritage Group. The Onsite Shift Lead ensures the safe and efficient operation of an onsite by-product management system at a client facility. The role supports the development and implementation of onsite waste and recycling processes and logistics, maintains professional daily interactions with client associates, and takes on projects assigned by the Program Manager to strengthen client relationships.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic business writing and computer skills.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple projects and responsibilities.
Ability to remain alert and work safely; this is a safety-sensitive position.

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of lead experience in onsite labor productivity.
Bilingual English/Spanish.

Responsibilities

Ensure health and safety is the top priority by following policies and processes and acting safely at all times.
Conduct daily operational and equipment inspections.
Oversee daily sorting, handling, and processing of plant by-products.
Oversee the safe and efficient operation of employees assigned to the operation.
Complete waste-tracking forms and activity reports daily.
Interact professionally with supplier subcontractors and all members of the client’s workforce.
Assist with implementing new processes, including training and auditing assigned employees.
Communicate effectively with the client and the Interactive team.
Assist and educate client employees on waste, reuse, and recycling programs.
Assist the Program with MRO and business development opportunities as assigned by the manager.
Perform other assigned duties and continue developing in alignment with the company’s core values, competencies, and skills.
