About The Position

Quality Sewing & Vacuum in Tukwila, WA is actively seeking a motivated full-time Onsite Repair Technician. This role involves the repair and installation of Longarm Quilting and Multi-needle embroidery machines. While previous experience is a plus, the company offers a mentor-led, hands-on training program for new technicians with good mechanical aptitude and experience repairing electromechanical devices. The technician will bring a smile to customers' faces by helping them succeed with their creative ambitions.

Requirements

Clean Driving Record
Prior experience performing maintenance on electromagnetic devices, such as appliances or copiers.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as service manuals, parts catalogs, circuit diagrams, and operating & maintenance instructions.
Digital electronic knowledge
Ability to analyze and interpret data.
Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work.
Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and planning skills.

Nice To Haves

Sewing machine repair experience is a huge plus.
Experience repairing electromechanical devices, like appliances, cars, and ATMs.

Responsibilities

Repair and installation of Longarm Quilting and Multi-needle embroidery machines.
Provide exceptional customer service during onsite visits.
Diagnose and solve mechanical and electrical problems with sewing and embroidery machines.
Manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment and company vehicle.
