About The Position

Envita Solutions is a total waste management partner focused on transforming complex waste challenges into sustainable solutions. The Onsite Material Handler works in a fast-paced manufacturing facility to collect, move, sort, and process waste and by-products safely and in accordance with company, federal, state, and local regulations. This is a safety-sensitive role requiring alertness, safe work practices, regular and predictable attendance, and the ability to wear personal protective equipment, including a respirator.

Requirements

• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
• Ability to understand general industry practices.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment, including a respirator.
• Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior forklift experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of EPA, DOT, and OSHA regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow company health and safety policies and processes, and act safely at all times.
• Load and unload solid and liquid waste and recyclables in accordance with applicable company and governmental regulations.
• Use hand trucks, pallet jacks, fork trucks with attachments, and other handling equipment to move materials to and from trucks and within the facility.
• Safely operate equipment used to process materials, including balers, shredders, grinders, extractors, pumps, tanks, and pressure washers.
• Sort materials according to established guidelines for additional processing.
• Perform cleanup and housekeeping duties as directed.
• Apply knowledge of applicable EPA, DOT, and OSHA regulations.
• Perform additional assigned duties and continue developing in alignment with the company's core values, competencies, and skills.
