Onsite Maintenance Technician (Summit Towers)
About The Position
The Onsite Maintenance Technician will manage a variety of daily responsibilities across a broad range of expertise. These daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to facility cleaning, minor maintenance and repairs on facilities, structures, equipment, sidewalks, drainage and skilled and semi-skilled disciplines, e.g., plumbing, masonry, carpentry, flooring, irrigation, and electrical. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing general maintenance and custodial work in the assigned areas. Responsible for accomplishing a daily routine of general and preventative facilities maintenance and repair tasks to provide environmentally safe, attractive, comfortable, clean, and efficient facilities and parks. Utilize personal vehicle and maintenance cart for work transportation. Performs related work as directed by management.
Requirements
- Condominium association, multi-family- and/or commercial building maintenance experience required
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record required
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and work on a computer.
- Ability to occasionally stand, walk, bend, or reach as needed.
- Ability to lift or move objects up to 10–15 pounds (e.g., files, office supplies).
- Manual dexterity to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, telephone, and other office equipment.
- Visual acuity to read printed materials, spreadsheets, and computer screens.
- Hearing and speech ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and in virtual meetings.
- Ability to work in a standard office environment with moderate noise levels.
- Ability to work a standard schedule, with occasional extended hours as required.
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
- OSHA 30, EPA Universal, and CPO designation preferred
