As an Onsite Instructor, Prelicensure Clinical, you will be an expert in teaching and mentoring students during their experiential clinical coursework in a remote/onsite environment. This faculty position involves varied instructional methods based on student and facility needs, focusing on supporting an assigned group of students through challenging clinical coursework. You will interact with students in both group and one-on-one settings, ensuring their success in clinical placements by overseeing their learning. The role requires a high level of commitment, effectiveness, and consistency, serving as a professional role model for students in communication, ethical comportment, and problem-solving. You will provide expertise in your assigned content area, maintain current knowledge in your field, and foster student learning through innovative teaching practices. Responsiveness to student needs, professional communication, and appropriate referrals for remediation are key. Collaboration with students' assigned coaches/preceptors, final approval of clinical time, and proactive outreach are also essential. Utilizing technology-based platforms, submitting electronic evaluations, and collaborating with university professionals to maintain a positive, student-obsessed atmosphere are expected. This role also requires adaptability to changing requirements and a working knowledge of relevant state regulations.
