Proximity Foundation runs structured coding education programs for young people aged 14-18 at Community Care Institutions (CCIs). Using a computer-based LMS curriculum covering HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL, we pair students with volunteer mentors in cohort-based sessions designed to build real technical skills and lasting confidence. We are scaling from the first cohort to many cohorts within Mumbai and building the operational team that will carry this program forward. Every role with Proximity Foundation is a direct investment in the young people we serve. Deliver mentor-led online coding sessions to students aged 14-18 at the CCI using the computer-based LMS curriculum. This is a direct mentorship role — you'll be in the online room with students, guiding them through HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL. A typical week involves one or two online sessions with the CCI students, a quick async check-in with the Program Coordinator, and a short session notes submission afterwards. It's structured but flexible. Direct, meaningful impact with students who may never have had a mentor in tech before. You'll see confidence grow week by week — and you'll be part of a tight-knit mentor team doing something that really matters.
