About The Position

BJ's Wholesale Club is seeking dedicated individuals to join their team as Online Order Fulfillment associates. This role is crucial for supporting the company's digital initiatives, including Buy Online, Pick Up In Club (BOPIC), Curbside pickup, Express Pay, and Ship from Club. Team members are expected to uphold company policies, act with honesty and integrity, prioritize member concerns, and contribute to a safe, inclusive, and collaborative environment. Requirements

• Previous order pulling experience preferred.
• Big box/wholesale retail experience preferred.
• Previous RF scanner experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general warehouse activities including pulling merchandise from a pick list.
• Move merchandise from the sales floor to the staging area.
• Use a handheld scanner to verify merchandise counts and update merchandise locations.
• Operate equipment as needed.
• Work within all digital initiatives including BOPIC, Curbside, Express Pay, and Ship from Club.
• Carry out job functions and responsibilities as assigned.
• Support the application of club policies, procedures, and compliance.
• Act with honesty and integrity, and lead with the member in mind to address all concerns and escalate appropriately.

• Maintain a clean and organized environment, inside the OMNI Space.
• Organize member orders in storage bins based on gold standards.
• Ensure storage bins are regularly cleaned and maintained based on safety standards.
• Understand how to access and read production and/or financial performance reporting for the department.
• See the connection between consistent execution and its positive impact on the business.
• Process member purchases by pulling merchandise from a pick list.
• Use a handheld scanner device (RF) to pick orders from the sales floor.
• Verify merchandise using the handheld scanner device (RF).
• Communicate problems with inventory and/or equipment.
• Communicate expired or short-dated items included on the pick list.
• Communicate with the club team when merchandise needs to be replenished.
• Work with the team to have merchandise pulled from the reserve area to avoid sales floor replenishment.
• Ensure all orders are picked in a timely manner to meet all productivity requirements.
• Work with a high level of urgency to ensure deadlines are met, including key performance indicators.
• Follow operational efficiencies, processes, and productivity standards with adherence to established SOP for BOPIC, Curbside, and Ship from Club.
• Take responsibility for individual performance and work with club leadership on performance when metrics are not met.
• Securely package the order in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Ensure the Ship from Club (SFC) area is neat, clean, and organized.
• Perform general housekeeping duties, including removing trash and cardboard from the work area.
• Handle damaged goods and spoiled products in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Process returns to the club and determine how to handle them (via DDR or Membership desk).
• Maintain all club policies and procedures, including adhering to proper dress code standards.
• Meet OMNI productivity expectations regarding service level agreements (SLAs), performance metrics, and goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
• Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance, which is an essential function of this job.
