About The Position

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Online Order Fillers. This role is crucial in supporting our digital initiatives, including Buy Online, Pick Up In Club (BOPIC), Curbside pickup, Express Pay, and Ship from Club. As a team member, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently fulfilling online orders, ensuring a positive experience for our members. Requirements

  • Previous order pulling experience preferred.
  • Big box/wholesale retail experience preferred.
  • Previous RF scanner experience preferred.
  • Carry out job functions and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Support the application of club policies, procedures and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Pulling merchandise from a pick list to process member purchases.
  • Using a handheld scanner device (RF) to pick orders from the sales floor and verify merchandise.
  • Moving merchandise from the sales floor to the staging area.
  • Communicating inventory and equipment issues, as well as expired or short-dated items.
  • Communicating with the club team when merchandise needs to be replenished.
  • Working with the team to pull merchandise from reserve areas to minimize sales floor replenishment.
  • Ensuring all orders are picked in a timely manner to meet productivity requirements and deadlines.
  • Following operational efficiencies, processes, and productivity standards for BOPIC, Curbside, and Ship from Club.
  • Taking responsibility for individual performance and working with leadership to address metrics.
  • Securely packaging orders in accordance with standard operating procedures.
  • Maintaining a neat, clean, and organized Ship from Club (SFC) area.
  • Performing general housekeeping duties, including trash and cardboard removal.
  • Handling damaged goods and spoiled products according to standard operating procedures.
  • Processing returns to the club and determining the appropriate handling method.
  • Adhering to all club policies and procedures, including dress code standards.
  • Meeting OMNI productivity expectations regarding service level agreements (SLAs), performance metrics, and goals.
  • Performing other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
  • Ensuring a safe and positive environment for members and colleagues.
  • Delivering service excellence through all points of contact.
  • Resolving and deescalating member concerns.
  • Working as a team to achieve goals and deliver GOLD club standards daily.
  • Maintaining a friendly and positive attitude.
