About The Position

This role is in support of Cencora's distribution services in the US operating through our AmerisourceBergen business. The Order Filler position is responsible for accurately filling orders, verifying quantities, sizes, strengths, and NDC numbers. This role ensures products are packed appropriately to prevent damage during transit and maintains a clean work area. The position also involves assisting with stocking, inventory procedures, and complying with all relevant policies and regulations.

Requirements

Ability to read and understand the English language for the purpose of comparing and reading product descriptions, names, and shelf labels.
Must possess basic mathematical skills.
Strong interpersonal skills; ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with others.
Strong organizational skills; detail oriented.
Ability to use good judgment in order to carry out detailed instructions.
Basic computer knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

Utilize the functions of the warehouse management system to perform daily tasks in a fully automated, PkMS enabled environment.
Accurately fill orders, verifying quantity, size, strength, and NDC numbers.
Check each order after picking to ensure product is placed and packed appropriately to prevent damage during transit; repack orders when necessary following quality standards and procedures.
Carefully place merchandise containers on conveyor as requested, ensuring route information is visible.
Verify that totes, cases, and paperwork are accurate prior to delivery.
Promptly retrieve merchandise from floors, under shelves, and from conveyor.
Carefully and securely wrap breakable items in protective covering as requested.
Assist with stocking shelves as requested.
Assist with inventory procedures as requested.
Maintain a clean work area to help ensure merchandise remains clean and to help prevent work-related injuries.
Comply with all appropriate policies, procedures, safety rules, and DEA regulations.
Work overtime when necessary and participate in physical inventory.
Perform related duties as assigned.
