About The Position

Citizens National Bank has an excellent opportunity available in our Operations Center in Bluffton, Ohio for a Online for Business Specialist. In this role you will be responsible for providing daily processing, customer service and support through multiple communication channels.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in information technology, or an Associate's degree in business, finance, or accounting.
  • Must have stellar written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of professionalism
  • Ability to define problems, collects data, establishes facts of difficult procedural and technical nature and draw valid conclusions.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft products.
  • Extensive background in financial institution operating technologies (i.e. ITI, ACH Manager, Access Manager, Director, etc.), operating policies and procedures, and banking regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and respond to customer inquiries and problems.
  • Assist customers with wire and ACH transfers.
  • Monitor changes that OFB customers make to their account on a daily basis.
  • Maintains a monthly report of OFB customers who are due for their annual reviews.
  • Annually performs an audit on ACH Third Party Senders.
  • Conducts annual security/risk review of OFB customers.
  • Maintains up to date knowledge of OFB products and services, bank policies and procedures, functionality of bank software systems and applicable industry regulations (i.e. NACHA-National Automated Clearing House Association rules and regulations).
  • Must have the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • This position requires on-site presence for regular, successful performance: teamwork, face-to-face interaction with peers/management and the ability to utilize the in-house software and hardware is required. Adherence to the Bank attendance policy is required as an essential function of this position.
  • Must be able to relate to other people beyond giving and receiving instructions: must get along with co-workers or peers without exhibiting behavioral extremes; be able to perform work activities requiring negotiating, instructing, supervising, persuading or speaking with others; and respond appropriately to criticism from a supervisor.
