About The Position
Language Trainers is seeking a freelance Berber (Kabyle dialect) Teacher for a beginner student based in the UK. This is a one-to-one, online course with a total of 10 one-hour sessions. The course is general and conversational, with the student's motivation being family ties to the Amazigh culture. The student is between 25-34 years old and has a beginner level of Berber. The preferred schedule is Wednesday evenings, but flexibility is possible. The position is freelance and part-time, with a negotiable hourly rate based on experience and qualifications. The course is expected to start as soon as possible.
Requirements
- Native Berber speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification.
- Experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter.
- Have a valid work permit/visa.
- Live within 20 miles of the specified location (UK).
- Submit CV with references (if available).
- Provide availability.
- Provide earliest possible start date.
