About The Position

Language Trainers is seeking an online Armenian language tutor for a client in New York (US EDT). This is a freelance, part-time, one-to-one general Armenian course consisting of 33 one-hour sessions. The sessions will be conducted via Google Meet, ideally on Mondays and Wednesdays from 8 to 9 PM EDT. The student is a 25-34 year old gentleman with a beginner's level of Armenian, motivated to speak with his girlfriend and her family. The Eastern Armenian dialect is preferred. The schedule and location may be flexible, and the hourly rate is negotiable based on experience and qualifications. The position starts as soon as possible.

Requirements

• Native Armenian speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification.
• Experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter.
• Valid work permit/visa.
• Live within 20 miles of the specified location (New York, US EDT).
• Submit CV with references (if available).
• Provide availability.
• Provide earliest possible start date.

Nice To Haves

• Experience teaching the Eastern Armenian dialect.
