About The Position

The Consent and Privacy team of a major professional sports league is seeking a technical consultant proficient in OneTrust. The consultant will work with the team to implement a digital Preference Center for fans interacting with the league and its 32 Clubs. The role involves configuring and supporting OneTrust environments, developing scalable club-by-club implementations, contributing to the fan experience, and supporting governance and project delivery. The posting also includes a separate set of project-management responsibilities and qualifications focused on advanced project management frameworks, mentoring PMO team members, project assessments, stakeholder collaboration, analytics, and change management.

Requirements

University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in a OneTrust or related environment as a consultant, developer, or architect.
Familiarity with OneTrust Consent and Preference Management modules and/or data privacy concepts and processes.
Working experience with web technologies, including React JS, CSS, JQuery, Spring MVC, JSP/Servlet, and Material UI/UX.
Experience with CSS and UI/UX design for configuration.
Experience working with cloud data platforms.
Knowledge of CI workflows and build/test/deploy automation.
Knowledge of integration patterns, batch processing, and REST APIs.
Experience with Postman API integration tools.
Service layer experience and understanding of authentication and authorization techniques.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to deliver for customers independently and as part of a team.
Proactive, self-starting approach and strong attention to detail.
Bachelor's or master's degree in project management, business administration, or a related field.
PMP or PRINCE2 certification.
At least 12 years of experience.

Responsibilities

Work with the Consent and Privacy team and the 32 Clubs to build scalable, optimally performing implementations for each Club.
Configure, administer, and troubleshoot OneTrust environments based on stakeholder feedback.
Design and implement runbooks and operating procedures for league and club consent environments.
Contribute to UI/UX journey development for league fans.
Participate in governance activities, including risk assessment and security testing, and ensure best practices are implemented.
Design work plans and monitor project and program progress by tracking activities, resolving problems, and publishing progress reports.
Participate in agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Develop and implement advanced project management frameworks and methodologies.
Lead and mentor junior PMO team members and foster a culture of project excellence.
Conduct project assessments and identify process-improvement and risk-mitigation opportunities.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and KPIs.
Develop and maintain project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and dependencies.
Use BI tools and techniques to analyze project data, generate reports, and identify trends.
Identify and implement data-driven strategies to enhance project performance and decision-making.
Develop and implement change management strategies to minimize disruptions.
