About The Position

The OneStream Financial Planning Consultant is responsible for participating in all phases of the project lifecycle related to the OneStream Financial Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting Software solution, from requirements gathering to go-live and post-implementation support. Their participation ensures alignment between platform best practices and clients' strategic business objectives. Utilizing structured methodologies and the OneStream solution's capabilities, the consultant transforms client needs into robust, scalable, and adequately documented functional solutions, ensuring high standards of quality, predictability, and results focus. They can work autonomously or as part of multidisciplinary teams (functional, technical, and business), always focused on delivery excellence, client experience, and adherence to timelines and scope. It is essential that the professional has the flexibility to work under pressure, adapting to dynamic environments subject to frequent priority changes. Additionally, they must possess strong analytical skills to solve problems and transform complex requirements into viable solutions within the OneStream Financial Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting Software platform. The consultant will also maintain direct contact with clients and, in some projects, may assume the role of primary point of contact. They will be responsible for organizing and executing all project stages: requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, training, and initial post-production support.

Requirements

Advanced English proficiency.
Knowledge in OneStream Financial Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting Software, following platform best practices.
Experience in requirements gathering.
Ability to create technical and functional documentation.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to lead meetings with business and IT areas.
Capacity to identify functional risks, propose alternative solutions, and adjust scope in a controlled manner.
Organizational skills to generate clear reports on activity progress.
Commitment to timelines and quality of deliverables.
Ability to manage scope changes and control functional impacts during the project.

Nice To Haves

OneStream Certifications.
Experience in integrations between OneStream, ERPs, Data Warehouses, and other data sources.
Knowledge in financial processes such as budget planning, forecasting, consolidation, and management reporting.
Experience in international projects.
Knowledge in SQL, ETL, or data integration tools.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in OneStream projects or equivalent EPM tools.

Responsibilities

Participate in all phases of the project lifecycle related to the OneStream Financial Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting Software solution.

Develop business rules and calculations.
Create forms and workflows.
Build dashboards, reports, and Cube Views.
Manage security and access profiles.
Configure planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
Implement extensibility and automations within the OneStream platform.
Utilize advanced functionalities and AI capabilities of the solution.
Document technical and functional aspects of the solution.
Lead meetings with business and IT areas.
Identify functional risks and propose alternative solutions.
Adjust scope in a controlled manner.
Generate clear progress reports.
Manage scope changes and functional impacts.
