About The Position

Mr. Handyman of East Nashville & Hendersonville is seeking an experienced subcontractor or installation crew to install one-day baths, walk-in showers, and tub-to-shower conversions in Nashville, Hendersonville, Gallatin, and surrounding communities. This local, family-owned business is looking for a dependable installation partner who delivers quality work, treats customers respectfully, and leaves homes clean. Compensation is based on per-project pricing agreed upon before each job; the posting also lists compensation of $1,000 to $2,500 per day. The installer will remove existing bathroom fixtures and materials, prepare walls and make approved framing or backing repairs, install shower bases, tubs, wall panels, trim, accessories, and shower doors, and complete appropriate sealing and waterproofing. The installer will coordinate plumbing work with qualified trades, protect the home, remove debris, document progress with photos, and communicate unexpected conditions before beginning additional work. Installations should be completed within the agreed schedule, including in one day when the scope and site conditions permit. This is a subcontractor opportunity. Requirements

Proven experience installing one-day bath systems and tub-to-shower conversions.
Strong attention to detail, especially with measurements, waterproofing, panel fitting, and finish work.
Own tools, reliable transportation, and ability to transport installation materials.
General liability insurance and any licenses or coverage required for the scope of work.
Professional communication and a respectful approach with homeowners.
Photos of completed projects and references.
Ability to work independently or with a crew and provide service area, availability, and typical installation rates.

Nice To Haves

Experience with acrylic surrounds, solid-surface shower systems, and shower doors.

Responsibilities

Remove existing tubs, showers, surrounds, and related materials.
Install shower bases, tubs, acrylic or solid-surface wall panels, trim, and accessories.
Prepare walls and complete necessary framing or backing repairs within the approved scope.
Install shower doors and complete proper sealing and waterproofing.
Coordinate plumbing work with appropriately qualified trades.
Protect the customer's home, haul away debris, and leave the bathroom ready to use.
Document progress with photos and communicate unexpected conditions before additional work begins.
Complete installations within the agreed schedule, including one-day completion when the scope and site conditions allow.
Address installation-related punch-list or callback items.
