About The Position

HF Sinclair Midstream located in Artesia, NM is seeking a One Call Specialist. This position ensures the integrity of pipeline assets during third-party excavation. The role involves performing periodic equipment inspections, non-routine maintenance on various facilities, and responding to third-party requests to locate underground facilities. The specialist will monitor the excavation process, inspect the work at completion, and mitigate potential third-party damage by determining alternate methods if necessary. This role also requires maintaining ongoing communication with One Call customers for timely processing of county notes, customer requests, mapping adjustments, facility additions, and boundary adjustments. Additionally, the specialist will handle One Call tickets by providing technical support to the field, performing actual crossing inspections, and ensuring pipeline integrity during third-party excavations near pipelines. Special assignments may also be given by their superior.

Requirements

1 year of on the job experience
Basic knowledge of safety procedures and precautions.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Basic ability to perform mathematical calculations and basic reading and writing.
Ability to effectively communicate with others, both written and verbal communication.
A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Six months successful mandatory position specific training is required to be considered permanently appointed to this job is required.
Ability to operate and drive all assigned company vehicles at company standard insurance rates is essential, valid State drivers license and proof of insurance
Ability to wear personal protective equipment (beards not permitted)
Minimum physical requirements required for respirator fit test.

Experience in pipeline operations or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities
