About The Position

Altimate Outdoor is seeking a highly motivated One-Call Close Sales Professional for the Dayton or Columbus, OH regions. This role is ideal for individuals who excel at running high-quality, pre-set appointments and closing premium projects on the first visit. The focus is on building rapport, delivering polished demonstrations, handling objections, and securing signed agreements and deposits for StruXure pergolas and MagnaTrack screen systems. Average project sizes range from $30K-$120K+, with top performers consistently achieving a high close rate in a single meeting. This is a direct sales role, not a long-term relationship nurturing or quote-and-wait position.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of in-home, one-call close experience in high-ticket home improvement (e.g., windows, roofing, baths, HVAC, solar).
  • Proven personal sales volume of $1.5M+ annually.
  • Strong command of a structured, system-selling process.
  • Comfortable presenting and closing $50K+ projects with both decision-makers present.
  • Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, reliable vehicle, and ability to pass a background check.
  • Tech-savvy with tablet-based presentations, CRM discipline, and digital proposal/contract tools.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience selling outdoor living or premium exterior products preferred.
  • Familiarity with JobNimbus, Ingage, or similar platforms preferred.
  • Coachable with DISC awareness; comfortable in a feedback-driven, performance-focused culture preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Run 8-12 pre-set, pre-qualified in-home appointments per week with confirmed homeowners, decision-makers, and budgets.
  • Execute a proven, structured system-selling process from introduction through close.
  • Deliver branded presentations using Ingage on a company-issued tablet.
  • Build accurate proposals in JobNimbus and collect deposits at the appointment.
  • Sell at or above floor pricing while maintaining a strong one-call close rate.
  • Complete clean handoffs to operations with full site notes, measurements, and design selections.
  • Participate in weekly sales L10s, role-plays, and ride-alongs as part of the EOS rhythm.
  • Generate a small portion of leads through referrals, past customers, and post-sale neighborhood outreach.
