About The Position
The Oncology RN provides nursing care to oncology patients. The role requires close attention to detail, independent decision-making, alertness, and skill. The nurse makes pertinent decisions related to patient care and uses resourcefulness in emergency situations. Work is normally performed sitting or standing, with moderate walking and periods of physical exertion and stamina to work effectively under adverse conditions. Good body mechanics are used when lifting and transferring patients.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Indiana.
- Current CPR certification.
- Chemo competent.
- Close attention to detail and independent decision-making.
- Alertness and skill.
- Physical stamina to work effectively under adverse conditions.
Responsibilities
