Oncology Nursing Assistant Part Time Days
About The Position
Seeking a Nursing Assistant for the Oncology Unit at Baptist Health Floyd. This is a part-time position (24 hours weekly) with day shifts and is benefit eligible. The Nursing Assistant, under general supervision and according to established procedures, functions as an on-shift team member under the direction of the nurse. Responsibilities include providing delegated aspects of patient care and performing routine non-patient care unit maintenance tasks. The Oncology Unit (2A) is a 10-bed unit caring for Chemotherapy/Cancer Support/Hospice/Telemetry/Post-Op patients. Nurses on this unit have the opportunity to build their skill set in a med/surg atmosphere while also developing specialty skills related to chemotherapy and oncology care.
Requirements
- BLS for Healthcare Provider required
- High school diploma/equivalent or CNA preferred, not required
