About The Position

The Lemmen Holton Cancer Pavilion is seeking an Oncology Nurse Navigator specializing in Breast Cancer. This role is responsible for providing quality education, follow-up, and emotional support to patients and their families. The navigator will case manage patients throughout inpatient and outpatient settings, measuring outcomes to ensure continuity of care. Additionally, the role involves managing projects and programs related to clinical management and performing quality improvement activities to assess program processes and outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• 5 years of relevant experience
• Previous nursing or CDE clinical experience
• Prior teaching with patients of all ages
• Registered Nurse (RN) - State of Michigan License
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or ARC) within 90 days
• Breast Patient Navigator – NCBC certification within 1 year
• Oncology Certified Nurse - ONCC certification within 1 year
• Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – AHA or Pediatric Adv Life Support (PALS) – AHA certification within 120 days
