About The Position

The Oncology Nurse Navigator Breast Cancer is responsible for providing quality education, follow-up, and emotional support to the population and their families. This role case manages the population throughout the inpatient and outpatient settings and measures outcomes to maximize continuity of care between the settings. Additionally, the role manages projects and programs related to clinical management, performing quality improvement activities to measure program processes and outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree Nursing
• 5 years of relevant experience
• Previous nursing or CDE clinical experience
• Prior teaching with patients of all ages
• LIC-Registered Nurse (RN) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 90 Days or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 90 Days
• CRT-Breast Patient Navigator – NCBC National Consortium of Breast Centers required within 1 year
• CRT-Oncology Certified Nurse - ONCC Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation required within 1 year
• CRT-Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – AHA American Heart Association 120 days or CRT-Pediatric Adv Life Support (PALS) – AHA American Heart Association 120 days
