About The Position

We are sharing a specialised part-time consulting opportunity for Hematology and Oncology professionals experienced in cancer care, hematologic conditions, staging, treatment selection, regimen sequencing, toxicity management, end-of-life decision-making, guideline interpretation, and evidence-based clinical evaluation. This role supports current and upcoming remote consulting opportunities focused on AI clinical reasoning evaluation, oncology and hematology scenario design, healthcare response review, guideline-based assessment, and high-quality project execution. Selected professionals will create clinically realistic Heme/Onc prompts, evaluate AI-generated medical responses, assess reasoning quality against evidence-based standards, and provide structured written feedback based on detailed evaluation criteria.

Requirements

  • Attending physicians should be board certified with a current, active, unrestricted medical license
  • Fellows should be in their final year of Hematology, Oncology, or Heme/Onc fellowship, or be board-certified or board-eligible in their primary specialty where applicable
  • Strong candidates may have: Professional expertise in Hematology, Medical Oncology, cancer care, hematologic disorders, or related oncology subspecialty practice
  • Strong clinical reasoning skills across diagnosis, staging, treatment planning, regimen selection, toxicity management, and evidence-based decision-making
  • Ability to evaluate oncology and hematology written outputs with accuracy, nuance, and attention to patient-care implications
  • Strong written communication skills and ability to provide structured, well-supported feedback
  • Comfort applying detailed rubrics, clinical guidelines, and evaluation standards consistently
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, asynchronous, project-based environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to complete high-quality review work within project timelines

Nice To Haves

  • Experience designing oncology cases, hematology scenarios, medical education materials, board-style questions, or structured assessment content
  • Familiarity with cancer staging frameworks, treatment guidelines, regimen sequencing, toxicity management, survivorship care, and end-of-life decision-making
  • Experience reviewing clinical documentation, oncology recommendations, hematology treatment plans, or healthcare-related written content
  • Comfort identifying clinical reasoning gaps, unsafe recommendations, unsupported conclusions, or missing specialty-specific considerations
  • Experience participating in calibration sessions, peer review, medical education, quality improvement, tumor boards, or structured review workflows

Responsibilities

  • Design clinically realistic prompts and scenarios based on Hematology and Oncology practice
  • Develop scenarios involving staging, diagnosis, treatment selection, regimen sequencing, toxicity management, end-of-life decision-making, and guideline interpretation
  • Create high-quality reference responses that reflect attending-level medical judgment and evidence-based clinical reasoning
  • Support varied healthcare evaluation tasks across oncology, hematology, surgical oncology, radiation oncology, pediatric Heme/Onc, and related subspecialty contexts
  • Review AI-generated medical responses for clinical accuracy, reasoning quality, completeness, and patient-care relevance
  • Evaluate whether responses appropriately address cancer staging, disease progression, treatment options, adverse effects, clinical guidelines, patient safety, and care planning
  • Identify unsupported claims, missing clinical nuance, unsafe recommendations, weak reasoning, or incomplete assessment
  • Grade responses against structured rubrics and project-specific evaluation criteria
  • Provide clear, precise, and evidence-based written feedback on AI-generated oncology and hematology outputs
  • Explain assessment decisions with professional judgment, consistency, and attention to specialty-specific care standards
  • Follow detailed task instructions and apply clinical review criteria accurately
  • Participate in onboarding, calibration, or specialty alignment activities when required
