The Oncology Field Medical, Director is responsible for providing therapeutic area (TA)/product expertise, in malignant hematology and pipeline, across a broad range of medical customer segments and initiatives in an assigned territory (Northern CA, OR, WA, ID, AK). This role involves planning and executing medical strategy, maintaining knowledge of relevant TAs and medicines, serving as a conduit for medical information and customer insights, and contributing to medical content strategy development. The position requires expertise in communication across multiple channels, optimizing patient centricity in medical communications, and delivering approved medical content about Pfizer medicines. It also involves identifying and engaging with priority customer segments, providing accurate information in response to unsolicited requests, and collaborating with R&D and GPD in identifying potential clinical trial sites. The role supports the Investigator Sponsored Research (ISR) process, cultivates expertise in malignant hematology, and provides asset leadership. Strong territory leadership is expected, including proactive communication with local Patient Advocacy Groups, and participation in cross-functional committees and professional associations. Mentorship for onboarding, advisory boards, and study leads is also a responsibility. Special projects may be assigned as needed.
